Job Description
- Interacts with users of the EMS/ERS system to ensure proper reporting, investigation, and documentation of incidents.
- Analyzes events to identify patterns and trends, providing insights for risk management.
- Prepares and submits monthly and annual reports to regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
- Reports serious events involving injury to patients, visitors, or associates immediately to leadership.
- Works with leadership to determine whether a serious safety event has occurred using established criteria.
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio computer skills [Required]
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- Nursing Diploma
- of Science in Nursing
- 3+ experience in healthcare risk management/quality [Required]
