About our Clinical Research Triage Registered Nurse position
Under the supervision of the RN Manager for Centralized Follow-Up [CFU], the Clinician Manager for CFU, the RN Manager for CFU, the Medical Director, and clinical guidance (the provision of direction, periodic inspection and evaluation for the accomplishment of a nursing task or activity) of a designated Clinician(s), provides post-visit nursing and medical care to patients seeking reproductive health care in Health Centers in all states within the affiliate. Supports patients and staff by performing, with accuracy and timeliness, a variety of CFU tasks and incorporates those functions into the overall operations of the affiliate.
What you’ll be doing:
Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process; performs tasks within the RN scope of practice; works with all affiliate Health Centers and contributes to the team effort of the affiliate; works in accordance with affiliate Medical Standards & Guidelines and health center policies/procedures/practices; maintains ongoing competency and continuing education required for licensure and work tasks; exhibits ongoing proficiency in electronic practice management systems/EHR; works and collaborates within a team environment; assists in quality assurance tasks; orient in surgical/family planning environment to develop in-depth knowledge of health center processes; orient in remote systems to develop in-depth knowledge of CFU processes and post-visit care.
Key Responsibilities:
Works within nursing scope of practice and in accordance with MS&Gs; Provides professional and comprehensive nursing assessment, evaluation, education, and advice to patients within affiliate protocols; assists with training new CFU staff.

CFU-Specific Roles: In addition to the responsibilities noted above, RNs may be assigned to one or both RN CFU roles that entail tasks specific to that role, including:
CFU RN
Performs reproductive health and STI services within the scope of RN license and has delegated by a designated clinician (ARNP, PA-c) or physician (MD, DO). Services provided include notifying patients of and dispensing treatment for STIs and other minor conditions.
Completes mandatory reports for State Department of Health reportable conditions.
Triage RN
Performs reproductive health and STI services within the scope of RN license and has delegated by a designated clinician (ARNP, PA-c) or physician (MD, DO). Services provided include contraceptive method counseling, refilling of medications per approved affiliate protocol.
In conjunction with the clinician, performance of triage according to affiliate protocol for new and established patients to ensure a timely appropriate response to patient concerns, medical needs, and access to care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Three years of experience in Women’s Healthcare with one year experience in reproductive healthcare.
Minimum one year nursing experience in outpatient procedures or post-procedural care services.
Telephone triage experience required.
Current RN license in one of the affiliate states.
Must be willing to obtain licenses in other affiliate states, if needed.
Current CPR for Health Care Providers certification is required if employee will be physically present in a health center at any time during their employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
BSN preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
Experience in a call center environment preferred.
Salary Range:
$35.49 - $59.14
