Base salary starting at $33.22/hr.  

E S S E N T I A L  F U N C T I O N S

• 
  The SPU/Infusion RN is responsible for monitoring patients, maintaining their IV access, and recognizing potential drug interaction and complications.
• Administers the appropriate treatments to patients. Demonstrates the ability and the appropriate technical skills with administering treatments and procedures in accordance with physician’s orders and IMH policy and procedure.
• All care, treatment and services provided are within current Federal, State, Local Standards, Rules, Regulations and Guidelines to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
• Transcribes, utilizes and implements standing orders, protocols and physician orders.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

E D U C A T I O N

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

 

E X P E R I E N C E

• Previous experience in a hospital preferred.
• Previous experience with the administration of chemotherapy preferred.

 

C R E D E N T I A L S

• Must have a current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Must have current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 60 days of hire and maintain credentials throughout employment with IMH.
• Must have current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must obtain within one (1) year of hire and maintain credentials throughout employment at IMH.
• Chemotherapy and Biosafety Course must be taken and certification granted within one year of employment. Re-certification must be taken every 2 years or as written by ONS standards.

•  Annual completion of yearly required CEUs.
