Employment Type: Full-Time DAYS (M-F 8am-4:30pm)

Aspire Senior Living of New Florence is a respected long-term care facility committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Wound Care (RN/LPN) to help lead our efforts in wound management and infection prevention. This is a key clinical position focused on improving resident outcomes and maintaining a safe, healthy environment for both residents and staff.

Position Summary:
The Wound Care (RN/LPN) is responsible for assessing, managing, and monitoring resident wounds, as well as leading the facility’s infection prevention and control program. This dual role involves hands-on clinical care, staff education, policy development, and regulatory compliance.

Wound Care Duties:

• Perform comprehensive skin and wound assessments.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized wound care plans.

• Administer wound treatments and monitor healing progress.

• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.

• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to adjust treatment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state of Missouri (RN preferred).

• Wound care certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

• Prior experience in long-term care and in both wound management and infection control preferred.

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Ability to educate and lead staff on clinical best practices.
