As an RN Diabetic Nail Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nail care to our growing diabetic patient population, joining a highly skilled nail clinic team. Applicants must hold a BSN and are required to complete the WOCNCB (Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board) and Rainer Nail and Foot Care training within 6 months of employment. The primary office for this position will be at Landmark; may have to travel to Bedford 1-2 days per week and 1 day monthly possible in Paoli.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

No weekends! No holidays!

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Perform routine charting duties as required & in accordance with established charting & documentation policies & procedures. Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician. Develop & maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents. Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift.
