Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one care and support to seniors and children with varying levels of need, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and companionship

  • Communicate effectively with clients and their loved ones in both English and [insert bilingual language(s)], demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions

  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, adapting to changing needs and circumstances

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with other team members, including social workers, therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure optimal care and support for clients

  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; CNA or HHA certification preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field

  • Fluency in English and [insert bilingual language(s)]

  • Availability for part-time and full-time schedules, with flexibility to accommodate client needs

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with or without assistance

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)

Working Conditions:

  • Work in clients' homes, with occasional travel to community locations or office settings

  • Ability to adapt to varying work environments, including homes with pets or other distractions

  • May require bending, lifting, or standing for extended periods
