Key Responsibilities: Personal Care: Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in clients' health conditions, ensure medication adherence, and assist with medical appointments. Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engage clients in meaningful activities, and promote social interaction. Transportation: Assist clients with transportation to appointments, shopping, and other errands as needed. Safety: Ensure a safe environment by following safety protocols and assisting with mobility aids and fall prevention measures. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily logs, incident reports, and care plans. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and patience. Certifications: Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) is required. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Background Check: Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record. Availability: Must be available to work weekends. Preferred Attributes: Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
