The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 80% (32 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at our UICC North Liberty Pediatrics Clinic. This position will mainly support our Pediatrics Clinics but could float to other patient specialties/clinic locations including but not limited to: Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and/or Specialty/Outreach Clinics.

Schedule: Variable hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekends, on-call time, or holiday shifts required.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Iowa Board of Nursing, or eligible for temporary work permit. Responsible to take the required continuing education hours to maintain a valid LPN certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support provider


Special Qualification/License

  • Driver's License and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards.
  • Demonstrated excellent written/verbal communication.

  • Previous EPIC experience
