This individual will be responsible for assisting a provider with various duties and will provide assistance/direction for patients as appropriate. Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Greet and room patients. Preparing for examinations and assisting provider during in-office medical procedures. Record and maintaining records of vitals, physician exam findings, procedures, and other pertinent patient health data. Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care. Record and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic test results, including patient communication. Manage patient communication, including returning phone calls, answering questions, scheduling tests/procedures, changes in medications, and coordinating prescription refills.
