Nursing Supervisor

• Camber Hospitals Nursing Supervisor serves as the Nursing Department’s liaison when working with senior hospital leaders to improve and innovate programs. The Nursing Supervisor will ensure the comfort and safety of patients and families are in accordance with legal and hospital policies and procedures and/or psychiatric residential treatment policies and procedures and establish standards of nursing care and practice as defined by the Kansas State Board of Nursing, the State of Kansas, and Camber Hospitals.

Location:

• Olathe, Kansas

Education:

• Associate degree in nursing required from an accredited college or university, BSN preferred.

Licensure/Certification: 

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse the State of Kansas. 
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Valid Auto Insurance
• At least 21 years old

Experience: 

• At least 2 years of prior experience or training in psychiatric nursing. 

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• More than two years of experience supervising registered nurses providing psychiatric patient care. 
• Experience utilizing electronic medical administration records and health records.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide inclusive leadership and respect for all staff and stakeholders.
• Oversee nursing duties, medication administration, and nurse scheduling.
• Handle on-call emergencies and collaborate with HR on hiring and training.
• Coordinate pharmacy services and review clinical reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain timely documentation.
• Manage staff training, update on technology tools, and support patient education.
• Supervise special treatment procedures and contribute to quality care decisions.
