This position is a Med/Surg position, working varied 12-hour shifts for 36 hours per week and a every third weekend rotation. The applicant may be cross-trained to other departments within the facility so they are able to float to the units. This position is under the direction and supervision of the Director of In-Patient Services.

Qualifications:

Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
BSN preferred
Current BLS Certification required
Previous Med/Surg experience preferred
Critical care experience preferred

Skill and Ability:

Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices
Physically able to perform the functions of the position
ACLS certification required within 6 months to one year of hire
Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned
Cardiac Arrhythmia Interpretation course required within one year of hire
Chemo/PICC lines experience preferred but not required
