OB Dept- RN - Full-Time - 7P-7A

$31.91 - $46.44 / HOUR
Position: This is a full-time, 12 hour shift position for the OB Department working 7P-7A with 36 hours weekly. This position is working every third weekend, but can be scheduled every other weekend if needed. The applicant will be cross trained to other departments in the facility and will assist in those departments when not needed in OB. Qualifications: Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio. BSN preferred Current BLS Certification required. Post-Partum, Obstetrical, Labor & Delivery experience preferred. NRP and ACLS Certification preferred, BLS completion required. 1-year Medical/Surgical experience in acute care setting preferred. Skills and Ability: Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practice. Physically able to perform all the functions of the position. Fetal monitoring course required within six months, External Fetal Monitoring Certificate completion within 2 years of hire. NRP certification required within six months. OB Certification required within 2 years of hire ACLS required within one year NCC and PALS certification preferred Maintains all required qualifications for the areas assigned.

Inpatient Dept - Nursing Assistant - PRN Position

This position is a Casual/PRN Nursing Assistant position working varied shifts and hours, based on the needs of the department. The position will be cross trained to other units and scheduled there as needed. The position reports to the Director of Inpatient Services. Qualifications: 6 months’ experience in a health care environment desired. STNA License required within 6 months. Current CPR certification or successful completion upon hire to the position. Computer skills to meet the needs of the position. High School diploma or equivalent Skill and Ability: Should obtain minimal level of proficiency of tasks through experience by the end of three months. Knowledge of principles of direct patient care, certain treatments, basic observations and essential points of care about emergency patients. Requires high level of mental alertness to avoid error and negative consequences to patients. Spends majority of time dealing with patients of whom some may create stress, frustration, or high level of concern. Wayne Primary Care LLC - LPN/MA - Part-Time - 1st Shift

This is a part-time position within the offices of Wayne Primary Care, working 32 hours per week and 64 hours per pay period. Qualifications: Completion or currently enrolled in a recognized LPN or CMA program at an accredited college or university. 1+ years experience in direct patient care, family practice preferred Proficient in medical terminology Prior Phlebotomy experience preferred Responsibilities: Reports for scheduled shifts on time and in a professional manner with regard to behavior, telephone courtesy, dress, identification, and communication with patients’ colleagues, and outside agencies. Works closely with the provider and leadership to continually improve the patient experience though daily patient care, clerical support, ongoing projects and assumes additional duties as needed in a self-directed manner. Under the direction of the provider, contributes to the completion of the patient’s chief complaint (including but not limited to respirations, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, height, weight and temperature) and documentation of patient/family needs. Identifies significant changes in patient condition through data collection and reports them to the provider. Performs specific specialized tests (i.e. phlebotomy procedures) as needed. Provides for a safe patient experience through adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, manufacturer standards and reports any potential equipment malfunctions or safety violations. May support a variety of clerical office functions including calls, documentation, scanning, etc. Within scope of Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant, demonstrates clinical knowledge and focuses on customer service to answer and triage patient telephone calls. Documents in EMR accurately and appropriately. Records complete and accurate messages and obtains necessary instructions from providers and nurses, etc. when appropriate. Supports internal and external customers, to maintain a superior customer experience across the continuum of care through teamwork. Communicates professionally with patients, providers, and co-workers at all times. Actively participates and is engaged in staff meetings. Flexibility to stay as needed to get the job done Other duties include but not limited to ordering supplies appropriately, tracking referrals, coordinating ancillary services, labs and diagnostic tests, disposing contaminated supplies, etc.
