Position: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This position is working 36 hours per week and required to work every other weekend and every other holiday. The applicant will be cross-trained to other departments within the facility. The position reports to the Director of Emergency Services. Qualifications: Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio BSN preferred Current BLS Certification required Previous critical care experience preferred ACLS and PALS certification preferred 3 to 5 years of Emergency Room experience Skill and Ability: Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices Physically able to perform the functions of the position ACLS certification required within six months of transition/hire PALS certification required within one year of transition/hire Hazmat training required TNCC certification encouraged Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course required within six months Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned All other duties as assigned
This position is a Casual/PRN Nursing Assistant position working varied shifts and hours, based on the needs of the department. The position will be cross trained to other units and scheduled there as needed. The position reports to the Director of Inpatient Services. Qualifications: 6 months’ experience in a health care environment desired. STNA License required within 6 months. Current CPR certification or successful completion upon hire to the position. Computer skills to meet the needs of the position. High School diploma or equivalent Skill and Ability: Should obtain minimal level of proficiency of tasks through experience by the end of three months. Knowledge of principles of direct patient care, certain treatments, basic observations and essential points of care about emergency patients. Requires high level of mental alertness to avoid error and negative consequences to patients. Spends majority of time dealing with patients of whom some may create stress, frustration, or high level of concern. Physical abilities must allow for frequent working, stooping, bending, and frequent lifting and moving of patients. Emergency Preparedness and Life Safety within one year. This position is a Part-Time Nursing Assistant position working 12-hour shifts and 24 hours per week and every other weekend. The position can be cross-trained as needed. Position: This position is an ICU RN position, working 7p-7pa and 12-hour shifts. Holiday and weekend hours are also 12-hour shifts. This position is 72 hours per pay period. The applicant will be cross trained to other departments within the facility, so they are able to float to the units. Qualifications: Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio. BSN preferred but not required. Current BLS Certification required. 1-2 years of ICU experience in acute care setting required. Skill and Ability: Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices. Physically able to perform the functions of the position. ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire. Must complete and pass ECG class. TNCC certification is preferred. All other duties as assigned
