About the Position: This position is located at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital on Fort Campbell, TN.This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Responsibilities

Duties

  • Provides direct care and education to patients and families on Army regulatory and professional standards.
  • Coordinates the care of complex medical-surgical patients.
  • Provides assists with highly specialized nursing care to patients that have undergone complex surgeries or who have complex preoperative or postoperative needs.
  • Utilizes nursing processes to initiate assessments, implementations, and evaluations of care of patients with stomas fistulas, draining wounds, incontinence, pressure ulcers and skin problems.
  • Addresses clinical problems on the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care and revises as needed.
  • Evaluates patients for pain management during admission and frequent assessment.

(Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.).Licensure: A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States; and you must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination.Foreign Degree: A degree from a Foreign Nursing School.
