HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Pracititioner to join an established and very busy practice.

-Work in a spacious clinic based on the campus of HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, Illinois

-Located just 3 hours from Chicago and an hour from Champaign (home of University of Illinios)

-Clinic hours Monday through Friday

Good Shepherd Hospital is a 30-bed facility that provides emergency care, laboratory and imaging services in the Shelbyville community 24/7.

The hospital features an advanced surgery department, inpatient care, rehabilitative therapy and a wide variety of outpatient services.

Education Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience Qualifications

  • Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
  • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
