We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team and help uphold our commitment to quality care.

Position Summary

As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee the clinical operations of the facility. You will lead, mentor, and support our nursing staff, ensuring compliance with all regulations and the delivery of high-quality care.  Responsibilities

  • Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Oversee resident care plans and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Participate in staff development and training programs.
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Act as a liaison between staff, residents, families, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered RN license in Ohio.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Dedication to resident-centered care and continuous quality improvement.

Job Requirements The Acute Registered Nurse must demonstrate familiarity with dialysis and hospital emergency procedures and the knowledge, skills, and judgment necessary to assume the responsibility of caring for the dialysis patient in the acute or post-acute care setting. Critical care experience (ICU/CCU) is preferred but not required. Home dialysis experience preferred but not required. Must meet all state/licensing requirements. Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and judgment to care for dialysis patients in an acute care setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current CPR certification. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
