We are immediately hiring a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our skilled nursing facility in Piketon, Ohio. This leadership position supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, staff performance, and regulatory compliance while ensuring high-quality resident care.

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Nursing with daily nursing operations

  • Support compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulations

  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, STNAs)

  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance management

  • Monitor clinical outcomes, audits, and quality measures

  • Participate in survey preparedness, surveys, and plans of correction

  • Ensure accurate documentation and care plan implementation

  • Promote a culture of quality care and teamwork

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Qualifications

  • Active Ohio RN license (Required)

  • Previous ADON, Charge Nurse, or Nursing Leadership experience preferred

  • Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care experience required

  • Knowledge of CMS regulations, surveys, and compliance standards

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
