Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities

Oversee all nursing operations in the skilled nursing facility
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulations
Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, STNAs)
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
Monitor quality measures, audits, and clinical outcomes
Coordinate resident care plans with interdisciplinary teams
Participate in survey preparedness and survey management
Maintain staffing levels and support recruitment efforts

Director of Nursing (DON) Qualifications

Active Ohio RN license (Required)
Previous DON or Assistant DON experience preferred
Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care experience required
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, surveys, and compliance
Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
