Willis Knighton Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to join the system with a busy Cardiology practice.

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), will work in collaboration with the physician primarily in the outpatient setting caring for acute, chronically ill or injured patients. Responsibilities will vary depending on specialty.

Works under direction and in consultation/collaboration with physician and may perform services authorized by the supervising/collaborating physician that are part of the physician's normal course of practice and expertise. Promotes quality outcomes and initiatives. Must have a Supervision Agreement (SA) or Collaborative Practice Arrangement (CPA) with a physician in like practice. Practices within applicable state laws, appropriate boards, and in accordance with his/her/their SA/CPA and delineation of privileges.

Responsibilities Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 hours between 7:00am and 5:00pm, including a one hour lunch Core Duties: The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) works as an independent health care provider of a primary care team. The practitioner is self-directed and has a high level of independence. The FNP may have a defined enrolled population of adult and geriatric patients aged 18 years and older, uses the results of health assessment tools and data to assist patients in obtaining an appropriate level of care and resources.
