Willis Knighton Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to join the system with a busy Vein practice.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for vascular health and be skilled in diagnosing and managing venous disorders, particularly varicose veins and spider veins. This position involves direct patient care, performing minimally invasive vein procedures, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history-taking and physical exams related to venous disorders
Perform and assist with ultrasound-guided vein procedures
Monitor patients throughout treatment and recovery, providing post-procedure care and follow-up
Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, and preventive measures
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in electronic medical records
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care

Job Requirements

Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Louisiana
National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
Prior experience in vein care, dermatology, interventional radiology, or vascular surgery is preferred
Exceptional communication and patient education skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 hours between 7:00am and 5:00pm, including a one hour lunch Core Duties: The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) works as an independent health care provider of a primary care team.
