This RN position is responsible for providing department-specific quality assurance. Duties include preparing and reviewing specific computerized reports, daily preparation of documentation, form completion, data entry, and other quality assurance duties as assigned. Reviews OASIS documentation for areas of concern, and communicates findings with field staff to facilitate necessary corrections. This position requires providing quality review for one or more patient age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support Blessing Hospital's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement/Patient Safety Plan.

Education/Training/Experience
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- OASIS-certified individual or obtain certification within 6 months of hire
- Must have one (1) year of home care experience
- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- One-year medical/surgical experience
- BSN
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing, regulations, and forms for Home Health Agency preferred.
- Possesses current State RN license.
- Must be willing to apply for Missouri licensure within one month of hire.
