This nurse will work one shift a week 12 hours in ICU and 24 hours as a HART nurse. The High Acuity Response Team (HART) Nurse is responsible for assessing patient health problems and resources taking a leadership role in the management of acute patient deterioration and conditions. The position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires advanced critical care and emergency knowledge and skillset for assessment and intervention of critical illness, high risk, and life-threatening health problems.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Service. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.

Education/Training/Experience
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 3 years Critical Care or Emergency Experience
- Certification in Clinical Specialty within year of hire
- Certification in Trauma Care (TNCC or TNS)
- Possesses current State RN license.
- Current BLS
- Current ACLS Certification
- Current PALS Certification
- Current Aggression Management Certification
- Certification in Specialty when eligible
- Completes TNCC (or TNS) within one year of hire
- Completes skills validation in ICU
- Complies with bedside shift in ICU, PCU, CVU and MS when appropriate for bariatric program, orthopedic program including peritoneal dialysis
