This is a benefited, full time position working 10-hour day shifts on weekdays only, generally from 7am-5:30pm with an alternating day off. You will train full time on site, then work 3 days on site at Scripps Clinic in Torrey Pines and with potential for 1 day remotely. Remote days are not guaranteed and are based on clinic needs.

What You'll Do

This position is about 40% clerical and 60% clinical.
Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice - patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
Wound care for post-op patients, assisting with in-office procedures, rooming patients.
Working collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
In-basket/message management.

Required Qualifications

CA RN license
American Heart Association BLS
ADN or Nursing Diploma

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
2+ years of experience as an RN
Clinic/outpatient experience (ENT or other surgical specialty)
Critical care/ICU experience
Epic triaging experience
Experience assisting with MOHS procedures or other in-office procedures
