The Director of Clinical Nursing is tasked with overseeing the daily operations of the clinical staff. This includes managing schedules, triaging workflow, handling call-outs and on-call duties. As a hands-on role, the Director will be required to float to different pods daily. They will also collaborate closely with physicians, administrative staff, genetic counselors, and other clinical personnel. This position will be expected to rotate to all RBA locations. 

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing clinical nursing team through hiring, training, performance evaluations, and daily management.

  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and Regional VP to shape and execute the RBA Clinical Nursing organizational plan.

  • Oversee and continuously improve the RBA Clinical Nursing Quality Assurance program.

  • Manage weekly patient-volume reporting and tracking to support patient progression and practice growth.

  • Maintain efficient daily and monthly staffing schedules for all clinical personnel.

  • Monitor and optimize workflow and clinical operations, making real-time adjustments as needed.

  • Provide direct clinical support by stepping into various roles when required.

  • Contribute to staff growth by helping develop continuing education and professional development programs.

  • Design effective staffing structures, schedules, and duty assignments that ensure smooth, patient-centered operations.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Five years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting required and a minimum of three years previous management experience is required. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively, with patients, physicians, and office staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Certificate/License:  Possession of a State Registered Nurse License.  ANA Certification.
