Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

 

This position offers a $1.75/hour weekend differential.

  • Monday- Friday: 0700-1700
  • Saturday: 0800-1400
  • Sunday: 0800-1200

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
  • CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED Experience
  • Six months experience in a clinical healthcare environment
  • Six months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients
