UW Medical Center-Northwest - Orthopedics and Spine Surgery Department has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager, RN3.

Department Description
- We support 19 OR Suites, 12 in the Main Hospital. Major clinical programs and services include neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery (joints/trauma/spine/sports medicine), general surgery (hernia/colorectal/endocrine/breast/plastics), gynecology & gynecology/oncology, obstetrics, urology, otorhinolaryngology & oral maxillofacial surgery, ophthalmology, endoscopy, cardiac electrophysiology, and electroconvulsive therapy.

Primary Job Responsibilities
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports and collaborates with the Unit Manager in the day-to-day operations of their designated unit (s) consistent with NWHMC Nursing Mission, Vision and Values and UW Medicine Patients are First goals.
The ANM supports effective and efficient care by focusing on daily staffing and assignments, onboarding new nurses, patient rounding, supporting smooth patient flow and care coordination of complex patients, and unit focus on clinical standards and performance improvement.
A primary role of the Assistant Nurse Manager is complex care coordination, oversight of clinical nursing care, and mentorship of nursing staff to a higher level of performance.
Requirements
- 2 years of inpatient surgical services hospital nursing experience
- Previous charge, lead, or supervisory nursing experience
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State

$49.23 hourly

$10,000 Sign On Bonus $5,000 Relocation Bonus $2.50/hr evening differential $4.00/hr weekend differential $1.00/hr BSN premium
