Join Our Team

Altra Homecare Group is currently seeking caring and dependable individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants (PCA), Home Health Aides (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)—or even those with no prior experience but a passion for helping others. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering essential care tailored to each patient’s needs.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with laundry and light housekeeping tasks

  • Provide medication reminders

  • Ensure patient safety and well-being

  • Report significant changes in condition to the supervisor

  • Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed

  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature

  • Assist with ambulation and simple physical activities

  • Perform range-of-motion exercises

  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with care protocols

  • Adhere to privacy regulations and infection control guidelines

  • Assist with bathing and personal hygiene

  • Offer companionship and engage in activities such as reading or letter-writing

 

 

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, follow written care plans, and document services provided

  • Must comply with all required training per state and federal regulations

  • Willingness to travel

  • Reliable transportation


Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Possess a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts A compassionate heart for older adults Must possess excellent communication skills Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
