Registered Nurse School Setting in Battle Ground, WA

A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide comprehensive health services within a K-12 school setting in Battle Ground, WA. This 12-week contract position covers a leave of absence and supports a caseload of approximately 1,550 students across a Primary and two Middle schools, serving grades pre-K through 8th. This opportunity is ideal for an RN with a Washington state license who is committed to school health and student well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care and health assessments to students and staff according to established protocols.
  • Manage and maintain accurate health records and reports.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to promote health and safety.
  • Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Support individualized health plans for students with chronic conditions.
  • Conduct health screenings and provide health education.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Washington state RN license required.
  • Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred.
