Certified Medial Assistant as delegated and supervised by healthcare practitioners and under the administrative direction of the Clinic Manager, Supervisor or designee, provide patient care to assigned patients. Patient care is limited to intake and gathering of information without requiring the exercise of judgment based on clinical knowledge. Healthcare practitioner delegation and direction must be for functions within the scope of the medical assistant-certified (MA-C) and the medical assistant must be able to safely and competently perform the function. Medical Assistants may not accept delegation of acts that are not within his or her scope of practice.

Part-time 0.8 FTE / 32 hours per week

Sunday - Wednesday / 8 hours evenings

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required. 
  • Current WA State Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C) or Interim Medical Assistant Certified required. Employment is contingent upon obtaining the MA-C within the first (6) months of employment.
  • Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
