Pay range: - Hourly $24.95 - $36.91 Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is currently seeking Patient Care Technicians (CNA) for our Progressive Cardiac Unit. This 36-bed unit has a patient population that include open heart, post vascular surgeries, intermediate care and telemetry. The Progressive Cardiac Care Unit is also designated as the Stroke Unit. The Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care to patients and their families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. .6 FTE (48 hours per two-week pay period) 12-hour shift NIGHT shift BENEFIT ELIGIBLE Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training required. Nursing Assistant-Certified (NA-C) required. Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) also required (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure after hire). Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers certification required. One-year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and EKG preferred. Computer familiarity is preferred. Knowledge and handling of hospital equipment, record keeping. Ability to read, write, and speak in the English language. Why join Overlake? We are proud to share that U.S. News & World Report recently released its inaugural list of the best U.S. hospitals for maternity naming Overlake as the only hospital in Washington state listed among the "best" for maternity care for uncomplicated pregnancies. Part time (.9 FTE - 72 hours bi-weekly) 12 hour shifts NIGHTS (7 pm - 7 am) Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing (BSN preferred). Current WA state RN license required. (May be a multi-State license from a Compact state or a Washington license.) Healthcare provider BLS/CPR, ACLS, NRP certifications. Fetal Monitoring education. Recent or current L&D experience, circulating C-sections, advanced fetal monitoring, and taking care of high risk antepartum patients. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Our new L&D unit is a Level 3, traditional L&D unit along with: 12 private labor, delivery and recovery suites with bedside newborn admits. We have dedicated antepartum rooms and services, 24/7 in-house anesthesia and OB hospitalists, and wireless monitoring for patient mobility. Other features include a third OR for scheduled C-sections, larger labor rooms and an Expanded OB Emergency Department. This busy unit delivers an average of 3,500 babies per year. Pay range: - Hourly $49.00 - $87.12 We are offering a $5.00/Hour premium on top of base pay, plus generous shift and weekend differentials, BSN and MSN premiums, and specialty certification pay when applicable. This is a .9 FTE, 12-hour night shift position. Every other weekend required. Full benefits, generous perks and free parking. Float Pool RN’s are highly flexible, and provide care for a diverse patient population in various units, including Telemetry, Medical, Surgical, Orthopedics, and Critical Care. Comprehensive Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience required. Critical Care experience and current IV experience will offer additional opportunities for the RN candidate. RN's in the Float Pool enjoy continuing education and certification opportunities in a culture that recognizes professional growth and development. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required, BSN preferred. Current WA state RN license required. 3+ years experience as an RN preferred.
