Education, License, and/or Experience.
- Current RN license in the State of Texas.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN or BS required.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- 5 years pre- and/or post-op experience preferred.
- 5 years progressive nursing leadership (charge, team lead, coordinator, manager) or related experience in area of expertise preferred.
Certificates and/or Registrations.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) continuously maintained. May onboard with AHA or Red Cross CPR and then transition to AHA upon first renewal.
- PALS certified
- ACLS certified
- American Society of Peri anesthesia Nurses (ASPAN) national certification required or within six months of hire date.
