Summary
  • This position works under the direction of the RN and/or Provider. Administers quality patient care according to established standards. May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patients. Provides exceptional service to all patients and customers. 
  • This position works under the supervision of the Director and is employed by Mosaic Health System. 
Duties
  • Completes daily reassessments for assigned patients and documents findings.
  • Updates and implements the plan of care.
  • Administers medications and monitors patients’ responses to medications including intravenous fluids and medications.
  • Contributes to the professional development of peers, colleagues, and others (students, orientees).
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Degree from an accredited school of practical nursing, or military equivalent is required.
  • LPNIV - LPN IV Cert State of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location. If a new grad, LPN must be obtained within 90 days post-graduation within 90 days of hire.
  • Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire is required.

Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard. Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
