Bilingual Triage Nurse

We are seeking a full-time Triage Nurse to cover a rotating shift. A Triage Nurse takes calls from injured workers, assesses their current medical status, applies appropriate Triage Protocols, and directs the injured worker to seek the appropriate level of care. The Triage Nurse follows specific account guidelines to complete the Triage Process per the account protocols that have been developed. The Triage Nurse works with parties to the claim specified in the account guidelines which may include: the injured person, the claim’s examiner, employers, and medical providers.

  • Schedule (30-40 hours per week):
  • Weekday evenings, 1-2 per week
  • Every 4th weekend
  • Remaining shifts would be days 
  • Includes shift differentials

Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered compact RN license required
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) required
  • Professional licenses or certifications required to meet qualifications for this position must be current, unrestricted and allow for practice within a state or territory of the United States.

Lead or participate in quality assurance activities, audits, and care reviews. Prepare for and participate in surveys, inspections, and regulatory visits. Care Coordination & Communication Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare providers regarding care needs and service changes. Coordinate outside services such as therapy, home health, hospice, or medical appointments. Participate in resident meetings and family conferences as needed. Safety & Risk Management Promote and monitor resident and staff safety practices. Investigate incidents, complete required reporting, and implement corrective actions. Ensure infection control standards are maintained throughout the community. Qualifications Current RN license in good standing. 2–3 years of nursing experience , preferably in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatrics. Prior supervisory or management experience strongly preferred. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage changing resident needs. Proficiency in electronic documentation systems.
