The Director of Memory Care Services is a regional support in overseeing all functions relating to Memory Care Services at the community level. Operating at a high-profile level, you will create, communicate, implement, and review Cascade Living Group memory care philosophy, policies, and standards.
What Cascade Living looks for in our Director of Memory Care Services:
Maintain and active and unencumbered Registered Nursing license
Preferred certification by a recognized accrediting body such as Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT), Certified Activity Director with a specialization in memory care
Experience of 5 years or more in the care of senior adults and adults with cognitive decline and dementia related diagnoses
Experience in supervisory and/or management in dementia care setting required
Required experience in multiple site supervision and/or management
Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments to achieve organizational goals
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to re-prioritize fluctuating needs.
What you can expect to do as the Director of Memory Care Services for Cascade Living Group:
Responsibility and authority to oversee community memory care programs in conjunction with Cascade Living Group Mission and philosophy.
Travel to assigned communities, company meetings, and networking functions as needed, may include air travel and overnight stays
Be highly visible to the customer and to associates
Contribute to memory care specific policies and procedure
Oversee training and implementation of memory care programs including state required trainings as needed.
Assist to recruit and hire memory care directors, and other memory care associates as needed, and is involved in the overall team recruitment measures when needed.
Implement systems that ensure compliance with resident risk prevention policies
Participate in resident and family care conferences as needed when needed to help facilitate communication, ensure quality service delivery and manage risks
Maintain current knowledge of and monitor community compliance with applicable federal and state regulations related to memory care
Promote the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade Living
Required Licensure:
Active Registered Nurse License
$130,000 - $145,000/annually
*Depending on Experience
