Requirements:
-
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
-
Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Massachusetts
-
Current CPR certification
-
Minimum two (2) years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital, nursing care center, or similar healthcare setting
-
At least one (1) year of experience in long-term care required
-
Supervisory experience and knowledge of teaching principles and infection control/prevention
-
Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:
-
Ensure appropriate resource use to deliver quality patient care

Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary departments
-
Supervise and support nursing staff
-
Assist with staff orientation, education, competency checks, and improvement initiatives

Monitor infection control processes and report findings
-
Act as Director of Nursing in their absence
