Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse - Nurse Educator to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY:
Mountain View Educators work collaboratively with the their department, unit-specific educators, department managers, clinical nurse specialists, the DON and all of the compliance team to assist in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating educational activities for all hospital staff; specifically focusing on nursing and clinical departments. This includes assisting with monitoring for general, clinical and nursing orientation, professional development including in-services and continuing education. This includes assisting with the Mountain View Hospital AHA Training Center and overseeing competency programs. The roles of the educator includes: educator, facilitator, change agent, collaborator, advisor, mentor, consultant, researcher, and leader.

Qualifications
Education/Certification: Registered Professional Nurse (RN), ACLS and PALS instructor. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: five or more years’ experience as a nurse, computer skills, education/instructor experience
Equipment/Technology: Microsoft Office Suite, Education equipment
Language/Communication: English
Mathematical Skills: Basic
Mental Capabilities: Ability to critically think, be self-motivated and individually manage tasks and responsibilities.
Interpersonal: Effectively and professionally communicate with administration, managers, staff and coworkers.
Performance: Requires strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Requires understanding of organization-wide processes. Requires ability to work independently and with groups/teams as both project leader and team member. Requires attention to detail and ability to assimilate large amounts of information
