Job Title: Compassionate Caregiver – Make a Difference in People’s Lives!

Location: Valleywide

Are you passionate about helping others and making a meaningful difference in their lives? We’re looking for compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our team as caregivers, providing vital support to those who need it most.

As a caregiver, you’ll assist clients with daily tasks and help them maintain their independence while living in the comfort of their own homes. You will follow individualized care plans and provide services like companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, and help with personal care, including bathing and dressing.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Preferred 1,000 hours of experience working with older adults or individuals with chronic illnesses. CNAs, HHAs, or those with experience in companionship/housekeeping will also be considered.

  • Certifications: CNA or HHA certifications are a bonus but not mandatory.

  • Health & Safety: Current TB test, ability to assist with client transfers, and adherence to infection control practices.

  • Transportation: Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance are required.

  • Background Check: Successful completion of both national and state criminal background checks.

  • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients, their families, and our team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Care Plan Implementation: Follow and execute personalized care plans to ensure each client receives the care they require.

  • Holistic Support: Provide companionship, assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation, and help with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.

  • Client Advocacy & Reporting: Keep the Care Manager informed about any changes in the client’s health and advocate for their needs.

  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all safety guidelines and infection control standards are followed and notify the office if additional supplies are needed.

  • Accurate Timekeeping & Documentation: Record work hours, tasks, and client updates accurately using the ClearCare Telephony system.

  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor and follow company policies.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely assist clients with transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment.

  • Reliable transportation to client homes.
