Position Summary:

The Specialty Clinic Nurse Supervisor position is responsible for the organization, coordination, and management of the specialty departments in the clinic, as well as providing direct patient care. and registration/reception duties. Specialty departments include general surgery, orthopedics, interventional pain management, podiatry and sleep medicine.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative tasks: staff schedules, timesheet management, vacation/leave approval, assigned training, budget/invoices, meetings, supply/vaccine order and management.
  • Responsible for team building, communication, employee issues/concerns, disciplinary action, training and competency, performance review, interviewing/hiring, team meetings, and ensuring compliance with organization policies/procedures and professional standards.
  • Patient care.
  • Registration and reception coverage.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Position Requirements:

  • Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree preferred.
  • Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • 3+ years of related work experience in a similar role preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid, current driver's license.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
