Expected pay for this position is $60.39 - $68.10/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.


Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Advanced Practice Nurse will be responsible for: providing high quality patient care to the patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care. Maintaining the consistency and quality of all services provided. Maintaining full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures, and other services performed by the provider or other support staff. Exercising diligence in assisting the OSF CEO in keeping costs of the practice to a minimum while maintaining a high level of quality care for patients. Providing a truly personalized, patient-centric experience to all patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care. This position requires floating to various facilities.

    • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Masters Other Skills/Knowledge: Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served. May be required to float between clinics as needed. Licenses/ Certifications: Physician Assistant License BLS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Experience as an APN Other requirements/information: May be required to float between clinics as needed. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

Essential Job Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care to patients presenting with urgent and non-emergent conditions. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of illnesses and injuries in patients of all ages. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications as indicated. Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely medical records for all patient encounters. Ensure the consistency, quality, and safety of all clinical services provided within OSF OnCall Urgent Care. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care. Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive health measures. Deliver a personalized, patient-centric experience consistent with OSF HealthCare’s Mission and Values. Float to various OSF OnCall Urgent Care locations as needed to support staffing and patient access. Qualifications Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree. Current and valid Physician Assistant License or Advanced Practice Nurse License in the State of Illinois. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the ages and needs of the patient population served. Flexibility to work at multiple clinic locations as needed. Prior experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in an urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care setting is preferred but new graduates are eligible as well.
