Minimum Required Qualifications:

PA/NP: 1-2 yrs. of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required. Treating all ages (6 months and older)
Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.

The APN utilizes critical judgment in the performance of focused clinical evaluation, patient education, procedural support, and post-procedure follow-up. The APN serves as an expert in breast health, guiding patients through diagnostic imaging, biopsies, and high- risk surveillance, while ensuring timely communication and care coordination. The APN ensures high-quality, patient-centered breast health care. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Conducts focused pre-procedure assessments, including breast history, risk factors, and relevant medical background. Performs clinical breast exams for high-risk and diagnostic patients. Assists radiologists during breast imaging procedures and biopsies, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Manages local anesthesia preparation, wound care, and patient comfort during procedures. Provides comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care, including follow-up calls to monitor recovery and address concerns.
