JOB SUMMARY As a Level 2 NICU and Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as well as general care for infants in the nursery. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for newborns, including premature infants and those with medical complications. Your role involves monitoring vital signs, administering medications, providing feeding support, and offering emotional support to families during a critical time. All staff within the department will complete training during orientation for the postpartum unit. Staffing for the postpartum unit is comprised of Labor & Delivery, and NICU / Nursery staff.
