The Medical Assistant Trainee’s primary responsibility is to learn the concepts and skills to become a certified Medical Assistant within 16 weeks thru the Community Health Network paid Medical Assistant Training Program. The training program is developed to allow the trainee to actively participate and support the primary clinical teams upon completion. Once a Medical Assistant, The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the provider of an ambulatory health care site with facilitation of patient visit and procedures, routine laboratory tests, referrals, and quality outcomes for the population of the practice. You will actively participate in Network quality initiatives regarding best practices. Make a Difference The Charge Analyst RN is responsible for medical record review of orders and clinical documentation to capture all applicable nursing/ancillary and/or procedural revenue based on Network charge policy and criteria. Communicates with all clinical staff and leadership to prevent and/or correct documentation deficiencies that are leading to revenue loss for their department. The Charge Analyst RN may have dual expectations for working as clinical RN in a secondary role. Exceptional Skills And Qualifications 2 year / associate degree Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited school of nursing or in lieu of accredited schools listed above, three years of related professional nursing experience. Associate degree in nursing required. RN functions as a representative of the Quality Resource Risk Management Team by identifying, monitoring, evaluating, educating, and making recommendations for improving processes affecting the prevention and reduction of risks to patients, staff, and visitors. Incumbents' work is done in the hospital setting and on the nursing units. Their work product directly impacts patient care outcomes. Serves as a lead analyst/facilitator (s) for root cause analysis and Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) teams for the network. Participates in and facilitates the day-to-day and overall operations of the Network initiatives such as the Medical Staff Quality Improvement program and peer review activities. Incumbents collaborate and participates in other quality assurance and improvement processes as required, including but not limited to identification and referral of case management and infection control issues, and serves as a change agent and resource to the network. Exceptional Skills And Qualifications Ability to function independently and as a member of a cohesive team; clear and effective communication skills; understanding of process improvement principles.
