Your Impact: Key Responsibilities You will provide personalized, person-centered care that assists clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental ADLs (IADLs), including but not limited to: Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Mobility & Safety: Safe assistance with transferring, ambulation, and fall prevention. Companionship & Engagement: Providing meaningful social interaction through conversation, reading, puzzles, and outings. Household Support: Light housekeeping such as laundry, changing bed linens, vacuuming, and kitchen cleaning. Nutritional Support: Planning and preparing meals and snacks according to client preferences and dietary needs. Health & Wellness Support: Medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises, and reporting changes in client condition. Dementia Care: Providing specialized, patient, and supportive care for clients with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Transportation: Accompanying clients to medical appointments, errands, and social outings. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for safe care. (spanish is a plus) Must possess a valid driver’s license, (if auto owned) automobile insurance, and reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check. Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting/moving up to 50 lbs. Preferred (but not required to start): Prior caregiving experience, CNA, HHA, or PCA certification.
