Your Role: Provide personalized care including companionship, meal preparation, personal care (bathing, dressing), light housekeeping, medication reminders, and dementia support.

Ideal candidates have: Ability to pass a background screening, must be 18 or older, A valid driver's license, a big heart, and a commitment to compassionate service. Prior experience or certification (CNA/HHA) is a plus!

Your Impact: Key Responsibilities
You will provide personalized, person-centered care that assists clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental ADLs (IADLs), including but not limited to:

  • Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

  • Mobility & Safety: Safe assistance with transferring, ambulation, and fall prevention.

  • Companionship & Engagement: Providing meaningful social interaction through conversation, reading, puzzles, and outings.

  • Household Support: Light housekeeping such as laundry, changing bed linens, vacuuming, and kitchen cleaning.

  • Nutritional Support: Planning and preparing meals and snacks according to client preferences and dietary needs.

  • Health & Wellness Support: Medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises, and reporting changes in client condition.

  • Dementia Care: Providing specialized, patient, and supportive care for clients with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

  • Transportation: Accompanying clients to medical appointments, errands, and social outings.

What We're Looking For:

  • A compassionate, patient, and dependable individual with a desire to make a difference.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for safe care. (spanish is a plus)

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, (if auto owned) automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.

  • Ability to pass a background check.

  • Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.

  • Preferred (but not required to start): Prior caregiving experience, CNA, HHA, or PCA certification. We provide paid training for the right compassionate individuals!
