Serves as the Delegating Nurse, performing all Delegating Nurse responsibilities per COMAR 10.07.14.20. Responsibilities: Advocate for all aspects of resident care, including case management and coordination of care, ensuring both the quality of care and the appropriateness of care are acceptable. This includes being a liaison with outside agencies, such as hospice, home health, physical therapy, med options, physicians, pharmacy, families, etc. Completes self-medication assessment every three (3) months. Completes the comprehensive nursing assessment for residents on admission, re-admission, and every 45 days.
