The Director of Wound Care - RN Supports employee and patient education to enhance knowledge and skills. The Director of Wound Care - RN implements policies and procedures, along with evidence based standards of care and practice. The Director of Wound Care - RN provides consultative service to clinical team, patients and their families. Wound Care, Ostomy, WOCN, RN Wound Care, Wound Care Director, Wound Care Manager, Wound Care Coordinator, Wound Care Supervisor Requirements Education: BSN required. Administers nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Clinical competence in nursing procedures and patient care based on established theory, nursing standards and practices. Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with professional staff, patients, and all facility personnel. Satisfactory completion of orientation and competencies established by nursing administration within 30 days of employment Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, L.P.N., Licensed Vocational Nurse, LVN, L.V.N Requirements Education: Graduation from an accredited Nursing School Licenses/Certification: Current LPN License from the District of Columbia Department of Health BLS required.
