This role requires call with a 30-minute response time and qualifies for competitive call and differential pay. As a Registered Nurse in the Main Operating Room, you will work closely with physicians and all operating room teams. This Registered Nurse will check-in and receive patient assignments. A day in the life of this Operating Room Registered Nurse will vary based on scheduled surgeries. This RN may work with a singular patient in a complex case or may work with multiple patients having shorter procedures. This RN will work as a Circulating Nurse and will meet patients in the OR and remain with them for the duration of their procedure to ensure they are appropriately cared for until transferred to PACU care. Job Posting Summary Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Pediatric Cath Lab Department at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity. This position requires call rotation on nights and weekends. In this role, you’ll support pediatric cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing the lab, ensuring equipment readiness, maintaining a sterile environment, and collaborating with the care team, while continuously monitoring young patients, assisting with sedation and medications, and providing compassionate guidance to families in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. This lab is a combination lab that performs both Interventional and EP studies. ACLS and PALS are required due to the lab being IAC-accredited. As a Registered Nurse in our Pediatric Cath Lab, your responsibilities will include: Coordinating with the physician's office, other RNs, laboratory, dietary, x-ray, pharmacy, and other areas of the hospital Assist with cardiac and peripheral invasive procedures. Will be responsible for moderate sedation. Cath Lab RN's may assist with TEEs and cardioversions.
