Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Pediatric Cath Lab Department at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity. This position requires call rotation on nights and weekends.

In this role, you’ll support pediatric cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing the lab, ensuring equipment readiness, maintaining a sterile environment, and collaborating with the care team, while continuously monitoring young patients, assisting with sedation and medications, and providing compassionate guidance to families in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. This lab is a combination lab that performs both Interventional and EP studies. ACLS and PALS are required due to the lab being IAC-accredited.

As a Registered Nurse in our Pediatric Cath Lab, your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating with the physician's office, other RNs, laboratory, dietary, x-ray, pharmacy, and other areas of the hospital
Assist with cardiac and peripheral invasive procedures.
Will be responsible for moderate sedation.
Cath Lab RN's may assist with TEEs and cardioversions.
Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, supervision of care provided by supportive personnel, and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs, and the anticipation of needs of the case
