What You’ll Do As the ADON, you’ll partner closely with the Director of Nursing to support daily clinical operations and ensure excellence in care delivery. Key Responsibilities Include: Assisting with oversight of nursing operations in a skilled nursing environment Supporting compliance with state and federal regulations (survey readiness is key!) Providing clinical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff Assisting with staffing, scheduling, and competency oversight Supporting audits, chart reviews, care planning, and quality initiatives Acting as a clinical resource and leader during off-hours as needed Helping foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture What We’re Looking For Required: Active Texas RN license (LVN may be considered with strong experience) Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience strongly preferred Solid clinical judgment and working knowledge of LTC regulations Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Preferred: Prior experience as ADON, Unit Manager, or Charge Nurse in SNF Survey experience and familiarity with QAPI/QA processes A team-first mindset with a calm, solution-focused approach Why Prairie House Living Center?
