What You’ll Do

As the ADON, you’ll partner closely with the Director of Nursing to support daily clinical operations and ensure excellence in care delivery.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting with oversight of nursing operations in a skilled nursing environment

  • Supporting compliance with state and federal regulations (survey readiness is key!)

  • Providing clinical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff

  • Assisting with staffing, scheduling, and competency oversight

  • Supporting audits, chart reviews, care planning, and quality initiatives

  • Acting as a clinical resource and leader during off-hours as needed

  • Helping foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Active Texas RN license (LVN may be considered with strong experience)

  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience strongly preferred

  • Solid clinical judgment and working knowledge of LTC regulations

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • Prior experience as ADON, Unit Manager, or Charge Nurse in SNF

  • Survey experience and familiarity with QAPI/QA processes

  • A team-first mindset with a calm, solution-focused approach
