Keep circulator informed of items implanted: size, type and other pertinent information. Communicates pertinent information to appropriate personnel such as changes in procedure .necessitating acquisition of extra supplies/instruments in a timely manner. Identifies/marks/communicates equipment in need of repair. Takes down the operative field. Cleans of instruments. Removes/disposes soiled gowns/gloves. Communicates with SPD regarding restock of specialty sets. Facilitates the organization and management to achieve optimal patient appropriate resource utilization. Requirements : Current BLS Certification Current ACLS Certification preferred. 1-3 years experience required.
